I painted the original of this print for the door of my studio, to ground me and remind me to invite God to be the center of my process, every time I sit down to create.
I chose this imagery because creating something beautiful often begins by getting messy. This painting is a reminder to not be afraid to get covered in dirt, because that’s the place where growth happens. And don’t underestimate the potential of a delicate little seedling, because it just might grow into something breathtaking someday soon.
